Dareth is doing Matterport House tours for our exclusive listings. It is a digital walk through a property to get a first impression of your deam home in Mallorca while you are in Germany, France, Sweden, Tokyo, Dubai, New York or any other place in the world.
Hello Dareth, thank you so much for your time to meet me here in Puerto Portals.
Could you please introduce yourself?
My name is Dareth Evans. Most people call me “Dazza.”
My business is Dareth Evans Photography.
How old are you Dareth?
Old enough to know better, young enough to work hard!
What does your company do?
I’m a photographer working in London and Mallorca specialising in creating “3D Showcases” for the real estate industry.
I shoot interior and exterior and have a real passion for architecture in general.
I also shoot headshots for business people and for those “looking for love!”
How did you came to Mallorca?
14 years ago I stepped off a plane and instantly fell in love with the island. What’s not to love?
You have a property here right? Where do you currently live?
Bendinat. On the golf course.
Why did you chose to live there?
I got married in Bendinat 10 years ago, so when the opportunity to buy a place there came up, there was no other choice! I’m the soft hearted type!
Lets speak about “where to go in Mallorca”. What’s your favorite beach on the island?
That’s a secret! Three years ago I found a small beach that is just perfect to chill out, swim and most importantly get away from it all… It is the perfect spot!
Too bad you do not want to tell us. Maybe we will find out one day!
Next one….which is your favorite port in Mallorca?
I like Port Adriano, but for me, it has to be Portals Nous. The vibe is amazing!
What about your favorite restaurant?
Il Trano in Portals village.
Good choice! I know you love a good magherita.
What are your future plans? Do you want to completely move to Mallorca?
I’m on the island every month working for some amazing clients. My plan is to move to the island full-time by the end of the year.
I’m expanding my work into video production and social media/marketing for clients.
As a trained journalist, I want to combine the visual side of things with the written word.
If you could chose: Yacht or privat jet?
Yacht. I just finished shooting a super-yacht and have fallen in love with the idea of owning one!
Tell us your favorite quote?
“Do the right thing, right from the start.” Also… “Nana kurobi, ya oki.” Did I mention I speak Japanese? “Fall down seven times, get up eight.” No matter what, keep pushing forward…
